Future people

RiiG, as a business, has been vocal on the “Talent Gap” within our profession. With such an emphasis on knowledgeable and outstanding people, we recognise that to succeed and grow we have to constantly develop and also introduce new blood to our industry – not only for ourselves but for our clients as well.

RiiG was an early signatory of the Aldermanbury Declaration. We have demonstrated within this a firm commitment to professionalism. This involves detailed performance development plans for all of our people.

We ensure each person has seven days training per year. Our aim is to ensure as many people are cross-trained in multi discipline areas as possible. Professional qualifications must be undertaken to progress and there is a clear route map within the business.

We have introduced our Apprentice Programme. Industry bodies have asked us to consult and work with them in developing much greater traction around the entire apprenticeship piece.

Our recruitment business, APT, provides both ourselves and our clients with a rich stream of candidates and coupled with our market knowledge, we know what skills are needed and where.
